AI Company Dublin: Custom AI That Goes Live in Weeks

Dublin has no shortage of AI talent — it is all inside the multinationals. We are the small, senior Irish team that builds the AI a 5-50 person Dublin business actually needs, and keeps it running.

AgentHub is an Irish AI company working with Dublin small and medium businesses. We build custom AI agents — call answering, inbox handling, lead follow-up and bespoke workflows — designed around GDPR, delivered in weeks rather than quarters, and supported afterwards by the two founders who built them.

The Dublin Problem

You Are Competing for AI Talent With Everyone's European Headquarters

Dublin hosts the European headquarters of most of the large technology firms, and that has one very practical consequence for a 20-person business in Dublin 2: it sets the price of an AI engineer. When you post that role, you are quietly bidding against companies with share options and a research budget. Even if you win, you have hired one person — no cover, no second opinion, and a resignation letter away from an unmaintained system.

This is why the sensible route for most Dublin SMEs is not to build an AI team but to buy the outcome. You get senior people on the parts that need them, no headcount on the balance sheet, and something working before the equivalent hire would have finished their notice period. Read the wider national picture on our guide to choosing an AI company in Ireland, or see how the same argument plays out for businesses in Cork.

What We Build

Custom AI Development for Dublin Businesses

Three proven agents, plus bespoke builds on the same foundations when your process needs its own.

📞

Calls Answered, Not Missed

Our AI receptionist picks up every call — the ones that land while the one person on reception is dealing with someone in front of them, and the ones that come at 8pm.

📧

Inboxes That Clear Themselves

The email manager triages, routes and drafts in your own tone — the difference between a four-hour reply and a four-day one on a shared info@ address.

🎯

Enquiries Worked Immediately

The leads outreach agent contacts, qualifies and books every enquiry within minutes — useful when you are paying Dublin-level ad costs for each one.

Easiest way to choose: start from the bottleneck, not the technology.

How It Works

Weeks, Not a Transformation Programme

1

A Morning in Your Office

Being Irish-based means the kickoff can happen in your Dublin office rather than on a call at the wrong end of someone else's working day. We map one process end to end.

2

You See It On Your Own Data

Before anything is signed, we show the agent handling your actual scenario — your services, your hours, your awkward edge cases. No slide deck stands in for that.

3

Live, Then Tuned

It goes into production with logging and permissions in place, and we keep tuning it as your business shifts. You ring the people who built it, not a queue.

What that engagement covers, and the parts we deliberately leave out.

Compliance, and the Pilot That Stalled in Dublin

Two things come up in nearly every first conversation we have with a Dublin firm.

The first is regulation, and Dublin feels it more than most Irish cities because of what is based here: a dense professional-services and fintech cluster where client confidentiality, GDPR and financial-services rules are not abstractions. Solicitors cannot paste privileged material into a consumer chatbot. A regulated firm cannot let client data leave for an unvetted tool because someone found it useful. And the EU AI Act adds a transparency and record-keeping habit on top — light for most SME uses, but a habit you want built in rather than retrofitted. We design for that from the first sketch: vetted providers, data-processing agreements, documented behaviour, and a clear answer to "where does this data actually go".

The second is the stalled pilot. A striking number of Dublin agencies and mid-size firms have already run a ChatGPT experiment. Someone capable built something genuinely useful, everyone was impressed for a fortnight, and then it stopped — because the gap between a clever prompt and a production system is all the unglamorous work. Connecting the actual CRM and phone system. Handling the enquiry that does not fit the pattern. Permissions, logging, error handling, and a named person who owns it in month six. That production layer is the entire job we do, and it is why our builds survive contact with a real Dublin office.

Where we would send you elsewhere: if you need a research programme, a data-science function or a platform rebuild, a large consultancy or an in-house team is the right answer, and we will say so on the first call. What we do is narrower and faster — one process at a time, working, supported. If the process you have in mind is capturing enquiries from your site, start with our AI chatbot for websites, or just tell us the bottleneck and we will tell you honestly whether AI is the answer.

FAQ

Hiring an AI Company in Dublin: Your Questions Answered

What does an AI company in Dublin actually build for a small business?

For most Dublin SMEs it is one narrow, repetitive process: answering calls, sorting an inbox, chasing enquiries, or pulling numbers out of documents. We build an agent for that one job, connect it to the tools you already use, and leave the rest of your operation alone.

Is it cheaper to hire an AI engineer in Dublin or use an AI company?

Dublin salaries for AI engineers are set by the multinationals with European headquarters here, so an SME is bidding against them for one hire — plus recruitment, equipment and the risk that person leaves. A flat monthly fee for a built and supported agent avoids all of it.

Where does our data go, and does the EU AI Act apply to us?

We design around GDPR from the start, keep processing to vetted providers with data-processing agreements, and document what the agent does and what it stores. Most SME uses sit in the low-risk tier of the EU AI Act, but the transparency and record-keeping habits still matter.

We ran a ChatGPT pilot and it stalled. Can you get it into production?

That is the most common call we get from Dublin firms. Pilots stall on the unglamorous parts: connecting real systems, handling edge cases, permissions, logging, and someone owning it afterwards. That production layer is precisely what we build and then run for you.

Can you meet us in person in Dublin?

Yes. We are Irish-based, so a workshop in your Dublin office is an easy morning rather than a timezone negotiation. Day-to-day delivery is remote and the agent is cloud-hosted, but the kickoff and any tricky sessions can happen in the room.
